At The Bottom Of Everything

The first Bright Eyes song I came across was At The Bottom Of Everything. The lyrics had a brutal yet beautiful honesty that when it came to producing some self initiated screen prints I wanted to use the song as inspiration. I picked my four favourite sections of the song, and came up with the layers for a four colour print.

The lyrics I picked were. ‘I’m happy just because, I’ve found out I am really no one.’, ‘Into the caverns of tomorrow with just our flashlights and our love, we must plunge, we must plunge, we must plunge.’, ‘We must hang up in the belfry where the bats and moonlight laugh.’ and ‘Into the ear of every anarchist that sleeps but doesn’t dream, we must sing, we must sing, we must sing.’

If you’ve never heard the song I’d recommend listening to it.
